What is Aqua Yoga?

Aqua Yoga is practicing yoga in a heated pool.

It uses the gentle support and resistance of warm water to help improve balance, mobility, and strength with minimal joint impact.

It is yoga in its most gentle and flowing form.


Who is Aqua Yoga for?

Aqua Yoga is for everyone who enjoys to be in the water and to practice yoga. It is especially suitable if you are recovering from injury/surgery or are experiencing any of the following:

  • reduced mobility and stiffness

  • balance concerns

  • joint sensitivity


What are the Benefits?

Aqua Yoga has all benefits we know from yoga on solid ground with the added bonus of buoyancy and resistance supplied by water.
